ATLANTA (Sep 21, 2021) – Chainalytics – a long-recognized worldwide leader in supply chain consulting and analytics – announced today that Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine chose Shimon Gowda as a winner of the second-annual Women in Supply Chain award.
Shimon is a Manager in Chainalytics’ Supply Chain Design practice. With over five years of experience within the core of the supply chain industry, she’s tackled challenging supply chain problems right from the start of her career. She has designed warehouses, rebalanced inventory, streamlined supply and demand forecasting, and designed and optimized end-to-end supply chain networks for a range of businesses. At Chainalytics, her primary focus is on strategizing and developing distribution networks for several mid-and large-sized companies.
Shimon describes herself as a “supply chain digital twin” enthusiast and a firm believer in how this can drive companies toward a circular economy. In fact, Shimon is building an inventory management program as a pro-bono project using a leading no-code app builder.
The Women in Supply Chain award honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship, and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network.
