As an APICS conference alum, I look forward to exploring the many topics presented by fellow supply chain, logistics and operations management experts every year. Chainalytics is actively involved with providing Supply Chain Reference Model (SCOR™) training for many of our customers, so we’re always interested in hearing of better logistics approaches and digging deeper into supply chain issues covered at the conference. Whether I’m sitting in a keynote session or chatting with peers during a coffee break, there are always many take-aways.

Looking ahead at the program, many of the trending topics such as last-mile delivery strategy, Blockchain transformation, reverse logistics, and the looming quest to conquer E-commerce challenges will certainly be the buzz. There are plenty of planning sessions and an S&OP session sprinkled here and there, but sustainability always remains a hot topic. Chainalytics will be exhibiting at the conference, and I welcome you to drop by booth #211 to discuss one of my favorite subjects, Statistical Forecasting as a Service (SFaaS). We provide statistical forecasting as a Managed Analytics Service (MAS) to clients through a long-term collaborative arrangement. With SFaaS, Chainalytics helps organizations create their statistical forecast so they can place additional focus and resources on customers and the highest value-add contributions to the final demand plan.

There’s no better way to get the inside scoop on important topics in the logistics world than through the speakers, keynotes, topics, and networking conversations that will be trending at the APICS Supply Chain Conference. If you’re planning to attend APICS 2018 September 30 – Oct 2, follow us on Twitter at @Chainalytics for the latest event information. I look forward to seeing you there, and plan to stop by booth #211 to discuss all your supply chain, logistics and operations management challenges.
