Chainalytics Appoints a New Vice President and Principal to Support European Business Growth

Atlanta, GA (June 13th, 2017)–Chainalytics, a global leader in supply chain consulting, analytics and market intelligence, today announced the recent hiring of German Estevez as vice president of the European Industry Supply Chains and Pieter Bauwens as principal as the firm continues to broaden its European footprint.

German Estevez joined the Chainalytics team as vice president, European Industry Supply Chains. German is responsible for partnering with Chainalytics’ strategic clients to support fact-based transformation across their global supply chains. German brings over 25 years worth of Supply Chain Management experience and will focus on the further development of multinational supply chain organizations. His previous experiences include positions at JDA i2 Technologies, Deloitte Consulting, Celerant, and McKinsey & Company where he led the global beverages operations practice.  German’s educational experiences include a B.S. and M.S. of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Florida International University, an MBA of Strategy and Operations Management from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business as well as executive education at Harvard Medical School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Pieter Bauwens joined Chainalytics Europe as principal and will focus on the Cost-to-Serve, Portfolio Profitability and Complexity offerings to support the expanding growth of the European practice. Pieter’s 20+ years of experience span roles at Heineken, S&V Management Consultants, and Director of Strategy and Operations at PwC Belgium prior to joining Chainalytics. Pieter’s educational background includes a M.S. of Bio-Chemical Engineering as well as an MBA and an Executive Master in B2B Marketing & Sales with certifications in Six Sigma, SCOR, inventory management, and pricing. He is also guest lecturer at the Vlerick Business School on the topics of Supply Chain Finance and Cost-to-Serve.
