recipient of an SDCE Green Supply Chain Award for 2017.

This year’s 10th-annual awards recognize small, mid-size and large enterprises that leveraged green practices and solutions to further drive sustainable improvements in their supply chain.
“During our partnership with a Global Safety Products Manufacturing Company, Chainalytics engaged and implemented several projects whose solutions resulted in substantial annualized savings across four plants and two countries,” Lindgren explains. “Most notably, however, the solutions implemented resulted in a 28,000 sq. ft. reduction in corrugated and paperboard materials and the removal of 48 tons of wood pallets. This reduction of handling materials amounted to an overall reduction of 112,000 lbs of CO2 emissions previously occurring through truck hauls. The sustainability and green initiatives accomplished throughout this partnership have allowed the client organization to implement positive change and continuous improvement across their entire supply chain.”
